Heat Chronicles, Volume 1

Okay I am a futuristic romance junkie and I adore steamy romance. Leigh Wyndfield's stories excel at both! The Heat Chronicles is actually an anthology of 2 stories. Both were actually available in e-book form a while back and I bought them then. But I loved the stories so much as soon as I found out they were in print I immediately purchased it again! Plus she also has a couple more in this series which I also can't wait to get the print edition, too! (Hint!) Why do I love her stories? Well, I really rate a book on how involved I get with the characters and how much I feel that they are meant for each other. Leigh Wyndfield's futuristic novels made me love the characters. Her stories take me away to different worlds where I feel as if I have been transported. Fantasy at it's best! And I think that is harder to do when it is read as an e-book, which tells you of her amazing writing skills. When I read her stories, I always feel myself getting emotionally involved and I love the fascinating world and characters that she is able to create. In the first story, In Heat. The male hero Jax is in heat and he must find a female to slake his lust, desperate he buys a beautiful slave called Waverly who is not all she appears. Unfortunately, Jax has made enemies and they are after them both. Between his blinding lust and trying to evade the enemy it makes for very HOT and INTENSE scenes! In Desert Heat, Tanner is among the last of her kind. She comes from a race of woman who are desired for their unrivaled sensuality. Hunted she finds unexpected tenderness and attraction toward the man sent to capture her. But Tanner know she can't surrender to him because once one of her race is enslaved they soon die. All I can say is I cannot wait for her other books in the series to come into print and I hope she has new ones coming soon. If the author reads this, please write faster!! I beg you
