I got one of these for myself a year or two ago, and loved it - I was disappointed to learn it was out of print, so I got a used one to use as a gift for a friend. The book has all sorts of information, not only on traditional uses and meanings of herbs, but also how and where to grow them, cooking and medicinal uses... while there are dozens of herbs in this book, I only wish there were more! It's well-written, well-explained, and the pictures are great too.
