Good mystery

This is much different than than the Raymond Chandler or Michael Connelly style, but it's a good read and a window into a time long past.

This is a great exposition of the Roman Catholic Church's doctrine over a series of 23 homilies: examples include "the Four Marks of the Church" and "the Christian Notion of Marriage." Msgr. Knox (1888-1957) is the son of an Anglican Bishop, converted to Catholicism, and was the Catholic chaplain for Oxford University. His writing style is both witty and compelling.
