Wooden, and the depth of a puddle.

The writing was fairly awful. The characters lacked any real charisma. The plot had potential to be a lot more lively, but fell flat.
I’m glad I purchased it second hand, and it wasn’t a total waste as it’s essential to the story arc of the Calth saga, but I wish it had been written by someone who didn’t phone it in. This was probably the least inspiring Ultramarine story I’ve read to date.
