This was the first book from this author that I've read. It is such a fast paced, easy read I am looking forward to more from her. Plot is wild. Characters fabulous. Love love love love this book. The way she writes just makes it so easy to keep reading. Thrillers and suspense are my genre and she delivers!!!!!

Not for me. Domestic violence books are prevalent right now. Whole new genre of social problems. New look at problem about 3/4 through had my attention. But the ending fell flat for me.

Oh my gawdddd. I loved this book so much. It’s not at all what I expected! You think you know the plot, but no! Reconsider what you think you know. This book is so well written. Throughout the pages I’m learning to be more empathetic and bam, the next page shows me just how much empathy I’m missing. It’s eye opening and invigorating. Every person should have this book on their shelves. This is truly a stroke of genius. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book.

Honestly did not like this book at all. It is the first new book I have thrown in the trash. The beginning chapters were somewhat interesting. As the chapters filled with torture sequences, I just got grossed out. The story could have been written without the locked closet attic room...

Ooh my God. This is the first time that I have ever read a book by Freida McFadden and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. The book was suspenseful, thrilling, surprising, funny and held my attention all the way through. I purchased the book to take on a cruise but I finished reading it before we left. I purchase part 2 can't wait to see how it ends.

Characters that were intertwined into the story to make it believeable and amazing at the same time!!! Love the cover!!! Ms. McFadden you should be proud of this book!!! Please write more. I am going to check the other book I saw from this author.

I liked this book, the book was easy to follow, the characters were great. Definitely was not expecting the plot twist at the end. However, I think this book was nicely done. Definitely worth reading.

This book captivated me, I could not put it down. It kept my interest the entire time. It’s a easy read, not very lengthy. It goes straight into suspense, with zero lag. I’m looking forward to this series.

My daughter got me this book for Christmas, and it is a page Turner! I’m so glad she introduced me to a newer author. I will be getting all of her books. This is a must read if you like psychological thrillers.
