I owned this book when I was 11, right at the height of 90210-mania. I loved the character of Brenda and HATED these authors, but in hindsight, this book is actually a pretty funny read, and Brenda, was, in fact, a character worth hating. (Watching the newly-released DVDs has been eye-opening). I feel a little bit bad for Shannen Doherty because she wasn't her character of course, but she has proven to be just as temperamental as the authors claimed, so...
