I enjoyed this book. It all most of the world's ships. But alittle short on warships. It is a good companion to my other Shipbooks I got such as Encyclopedia of Ships and Lore of the Ship. But this one has some more sail ships. The is one of the best ship books on sail ships. It has ships from the Roman Empire. About 5 Roman ships including Roman Traders, Roman Merchantman and Roman Trieme. So if you want one of the best ship books on merchant, civilian and sailing ships. Then this is the book for you. If you want more naval ships. Recommended is Jane's Ships of Fighting Ships of World War II, Conways All the World's Battleships 1906 to the Present and from Barnes and Nobles Encyclopedia of Ships.
