Why no Alaska, or Aleutian Islands?

While I am impressed with the photos and maps I was left wondering what the publisher was thinking by leaving the Alaska war out of a World War II book. The words Alaska or Aluetian Islands are not even in the index. What a shame. The book did an excellent job with the other battle fields of this war but the absence of the sacrifice made by so many in the Aleutians is unforgivable.
