Hi, I'm Donna Lee. If you think that the title of my book is a play on that of the preeminent Sigmund Freud's, you're right! Like, Freud, I'm a pioneer in the field. I'm a black woman who has made virtually a life-long study of my dreams as well as many other things. I remember some of the first dreams of my life, which are noted here, and which analytical psychologists (the school of psychological thought of Carl Jung) say outline in brief the course one's life will take. I've been studying and applying in my life for over 35 years intensely as a self-taught person this school of thought and have had two articles published in prestigious astrology journals on how some of the tenets of which apply to certain astrological theories (which latter I've been studying and applying intensely for over 40 years!); see my book entitled, Astrological Thinkfest, also published here on Kindle. My initial dreams have been true to this form, or so it seems to me. Like Freud and Jung I've had to take my journey more or less alone except for what I could glean from them and others who came before me as they did. I think this is even more singular for a black woman to do. I don't know of any others! I've published several books on this and other subjects, all available here on Kindle. What is contained in this book is the first installment of my ongoing dream journal, which I have kept over at least two decades. There will be other installments to follow. They will be valuable tools to any serious investigator of a life process revealed through a detailed series of dreams. One such practitioner, Aldo Carotenuto, author of the book, The Spiral Way, published in 1986, by Inner City Books in Toronto, Canada, said in that book that, "if a skilled analyst were presented with several hundred of a patient's dreams, without the associations, sex, age and problems of the patient, he would be able to draw up a detailed history of the case." (p. 109).There are some associations here and you know some things about me. See how good you are at it otherwise. Most of all, I hope you enjoy what I believe is a unique record for posterity that I have documented here!
