The Iron Forrest is a heroic fantasy adventure with a sci-fi twist from first time author, Jim Ryan. This story takes place on a planet in a galaxy not to far away from our very own. Our reluctant heroes: A father, Das, who is the lead hunter in the Speil in which he resides and his daughter, Elbu, and her best friend Arana. The girls are a couple of what would be teens, here on Earth, who race to help Elbu's father without his knowledge. The land is strange, dangerous, and beautiful - opening a kaleidoscope of vivid pictures in ones' imagination. The girls must rely on their hunting skills and their intellect to get them through the many adventures that they will face in this wonderful world.The King has sent Das on a quest to retrieve the Demption Stone from whomever, or whatever, might have taken it. Das has no desire to be any part of this quest, however he is compelled to take up the challenge in order to save his family and his people. Along each of their paths they find strange new friends and some even stranger enemies. With non-stop excitement, clever humor, and unexpected adventures, this book is sure to please the reader.
