Give a Gift with Meaning

Someone gave me this book as a gift for my birthday, and it was without doubt the best gift I received! It is not an ordinary historical book or a self-help book; rather, it offers a lens to look at -- and to deeply connect with -- history. (And the pictures are really beautiful!)I thought the book would just tell me how to read my dreams, or tell me how the ancients read theirs; but instead, it offers a process that affects my waking hours as well. I feel like I am interacting with my dreams WHILE interacting with the generations of people who came before me. It is certainly a religious book, but, for someone like me who is not very religious, it offers a spiritual perspective for my own life without any of the potentially intimidating aspects of formal religious study. I have put this book on my holiday gift list for six of my friends/family, both male and female and will give it to friends all year for birthdays.
