The Keys to the Spanish House: Spanish House Series: Book 1

This book is my first novel and number one in a series with these characters. It is a crime fiction book, set in 2007. It takes place in Spain and in England. This book has been crafted to give great entertainment and introduce the reader to a world they may not have experienced, even if the have travelled to Spain. A suspended policeman, facing dismissal is suddenly asked to search for a family member. He is his Uncle, a family legend who was a one hit wonder in the Sixties. Then his career crashed sacrificed to save the career of a comedy superstar.The young policeman is handed a ball of metal. It's the many Keys to the Spanish House which belongs to his Uncle. He travels to Alicante to find his Uncle, discovering he is in the sights of a brutal Russian criminal gang after he uncovered their drugs shipping network. With a backdrop of the imminent Global Financial Crisis 'the Organisation' is busily becoming legitimate, laundering money and moving into media and other legal enterprises. The hero meets an amazing young woman, with a secret life who betrays him to the gang. The Organisation is run from a superyacht in the Marina. After a frustrating search for his Uncle, escaping the gang after capture during a crazy Spanish Festival full of fire, smoke and fireworks, the scene is set for a spectacular and explosive finale. It features many real locations in Alicante, the Costa Blanca, and the Costa Calida concluding at the amazing La Manga del Mar Menor.
