"We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand."---Randy Pausch A lot of professors give talks titled "The Last Lecture." Professors are asked to consider their demise and to... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Narcissism on display. I don’t think I would have liked this man. If you read his wife’s book it because it presents an entire picture. He wanted to put his baby daughter up for adoption since he was so ill. He demanded all Jai’s time leaving her an emotional wreck. I think The Last Lecture is a narcissistic man who was dealt a horrible deck of cards(his words). Pausch was wealthy with resources to pay his medical bills. Even his university gave him money.
I did not appreciate this book in the least

The writing was good but the writer is very self centered and cared little for his family. I did not appreciate him
Insight into the time ahead

I enjoyed reading this book and didn't want to put it down. Randy's perspective was very insightful and he had an amazing opportunity that he took full advantage of, and was able to illustrate how he managed after receiving terrible news. Not only did he share some timeless wisdom with his readers, but was honest and straightforward. I was rooting for him all the way.
It's a Wonderful read.
