Easily one of my favorite Modern Writers

Took a minute or two to get into the book. Definitely not a one page and hooked type of read.
Best thing about Brad Thor is he is obviously well researched. I like his writing style and I was able to relate to weapons and tactics. A little stretched as far as some of the globe hopping but....like I stated, easily one of my favorite modern authors.
Relentless Thriller

This was my first Brad Thor novel and I absolutely loved it from cover to cover. This book had amazing action and adventure sometimes maybe a little over the top but hey it is a work of fiction. Scott Harvath is a great character, very resoureful but yet not a comic book superhero like some fictional characters are. As any novel that deals with politics it is going to have its down time(ie: The Bourne Identity which is one of my favorite books) but it was short and right back to the fast past action. If you are looking for a great political thriller that you can actually follow you will not be disappointed with this novel.

An excellent book! Keeps you guessing, great description of Europe. I'd say this is probably one of the best new young authors I've read in a very long time. I've heard Thor described as an early Ludlum and I think that's a pretty fair statement. If you are looking for technical data to get lost in and very, very clichéd characters then go read Clancy, but if you want a BELIEVABLE story, with enough details to make it interesting yet doesn't read like a technical manual or a story from a highschooler then go read this book!All I can say I can't wait to read the newest book.

This is a great book and I couldn't put this book down. You should read this book if you love any book that involves the FBI or the Secret Service.

"The Lions of Lucerne" is a good, old-fashioned thriller that keeps you turning the pages to find out what's next. Lots of good twists and turns. Looking forward to Mr. Thor's next novel.
