It is too bad this book is out of print and we had to order it used. It is an enchanting book that we got from the library and my daughter missed it so much when we returned it that I definitely wanted to own it. It is a delightful book, perfect for waldorfy-but not committed to waldorf 100%- people like us. I find the review above by Corinne Camarata really unfortunate. She really gets it all wrong. The book lacks nothing, it is a complete, perfect story of a band that comes to town, and as they march through, the different townspeople are touched by the music and begin to transform. I don't really know what more she wanted, but her review is not an accurate portrayal of the book. The illustrations are fantastic and a welcome change to commercial cartoon drawings in some other books.
