Cacti and succulents are a trendy and low maintenance way to bring nature into your home, and this book is an essential user-friendly guide to the most popular 60 varieties. The book focuses on their propagation and care. As well as a section of handy tips, there will be a ready reference on dealing with common problems and pest control.
Cute layout, beginner-friendly info, but not entirely accurate

This is a very cute book with nice photos and a clean layout that presents information without bombarding you with too much. Still, I felt there were a few things inaccurate about the book. I did notice that some of the scientific names of the featured cacti and succulents were outdated. I'm also unsure why a few had no details on lighting, whether or not they could tolerate lower light or need direct sun. My biggest complaint is if you follow the watering guides for each plant as written, you'll likely end up overwatering. Dormancy is only briefly discussed in the beginning, and summer dormant succulents are still given a winter dormant watering schedule. Cute book for your collection, but would not recommend if you're looking for an accurate guide to follow.
