What does L.O.B.A. stand for? This book explores the history of the Ladies' Orange Benevolent Association of Canada which was founded in Hamilton, Ontario in 1892 and expanded to have members in every province. It includes the Address of the Grand Mistress of Canada from 1984 as well as one made by the Grand Mistress of Nova Scotia from fifty years earlier in 1934. It also has a listing of L.O..B.A. lodges across the country in 1972 and identifies the Worthy Mistress and Secretary of each. As well there is a list of Chrystal Chapter lodges and lodges of the Loyal True Blue Association. Colour as well as black and white photographs of members and events also help illustrate the role this association played.
