The script is presented in its original form along with a lengthy introduction by the author about the process of writing for radio and an account of the play's recording session. The play itself is a two-handed comedy/drama in which a couple's attempts to go to bed for the night are thwarted by their own compulsion for the sort of late night conversation that is an essential part of every relationship.
