How do you explain the popularity of horoscopes? The Magic 8-Ball? Tarot cards? Fortune-tellers? All attempt to provide answers to the curious who are searching for knowledge of the future. The Lucky... This description may be from another edition of this product.
There is a classic fortune telling book from the year 1919 called “The White Magic” by Mrs John Le Breton. In that book, you first choose from 100 pre-written Questions.
Then you hold your finger over a grid (magic square) with 16 symbols. CLOSE your eyes, drop your finger on the Magic square and check WHICH symbol you landed upon.
EACH of the 100 questions has 16 ANSWERS that correspond with the SYMBOLS on the grid. So for instance, if you landed on the MOON symbol and you asked question #7 the answer listed would be DIFFERENT then if you asked question #13 and landed on the same MOON symbol. That means there are 1,600 distinctly different answers in the book.
“The Lucky Book: Fun Predictions For Your Future” by Sabrina Burton is a cleverly UPDATED modern version of the Mrs John Le Breton system found in the book “White Magic”. Even though BOTH systems are essentially the same… Mrs John Le Breton’s book is also an update of Cornelius Agrippa’s “Ladies Oracle” book originating all the way back in the 1500’s.
Sabrina Burton’s version would DEFINITELY be more understandable for modern folks and teenagers because the language is MUCH more simplified and modern. Going through and rewriting 1,600 answers to reflect modern language is a monumental and commendable task. Beautiful to see an old classic system revived and updated with a fresh approach. :)

When I got this book I took it to a sleepover with my friends and it was a lot of fun.We were cracking up for hours. But you shouldn't take it to seriously because after all it is just a book and I seriously doubt it has mystical powers. But over all if you just want to play around and are interested in predictions and that type of thing you should enjoy it.
