Praise for Ruth Ware's instant New York Times, USA TODAY, and Los Angeles Times bestseller: "So many questions....Until the very last page Needless to say, I could not put this book down " --Reese... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I read this book in two days because once I got into the storyline it was hard to put down until the very end!
It started out a little slow, but it picks up near the middle with twist and turns that you don't expect.
A great weekend read!

Interesting characters

I feel like the book did a good job of getting me invested in all the characters early on and that relationship drew me through the rest of the story

Not my favorite by this author.
Ruth Wares 1st major disappointment
Published by Lynn237 , 3 years ago
So, this went on entirely too long without a climax & all the twists & actually storyline didn't develop until almost the very end. Very mild & quite disappointing.
Also the main character is very hard to like personally. She takes no part in her own faults, especially with her partner. And honestly, I could have done without the entire baby storyline. Took too much out of the entire story.
Twisty storyline that hooks you in

I was hooked from page one of this book. And I was happy that I was unable to put together the ending. Good read. Author has a good style
Story was ok

As in the previous books, I found the main character(s) impossible to like. The descriptions of them are flat & not engaging at all. I wont complain as I ordered the book knowing I didn't like the last 2, but I had hope the writing would improve. I'm not sure what it takes to become an instant NY Times best seller, but apparently people like it. I did not.

This is another great read from Ruth Ware. She sure knows how to write just the right amount of excitement and thrill when it comes to her book.
Gripping mystery

Ruth Ware has written a beautiful novel about friendship and added in a mystery that was 17 years in the making. Through the entire book you’ll THINK you have it figured out only to get another piece of the puzzle and have the storyline shift in another direction.
Highly recommended!!
