The Mandie collection holds childhood sentiment

This series is wholesome, yet appropriate for the growing into adolescence child.
My ten year old daughter and I have loved this series.
If I would’ve thought about the weight of the book more, I probably would’ve purchased one book at a time instead of a five in one book. It’s very heavy to hold and read for longer than fifteen minutes.
But great series!

I started reading the Mandie books when I was 8 years old. I am now 21 and still love them. They are wholesome entertainment for girls, especially in a time when wholesome is not available in most preteen literature. The only problem I have with them is that Mandie occasionally does not act her age all the time.

I ordered this book for my 11 year daughter. She inhaled it! She described it as the "best book, I've EVER read!" Since she's an avid reader, that is surely a compliment. She is begging for the second volume now. It is fortunate to know that there are still some wholesome, engaging materials out there for preteens. We are looking forward to more!

Mandie Books are the best. I enjoy reading them. They are full of excitment and adventure. My favourite character is Snowball. I wish that I could read them for ever non-stop. My favourite book would have to be 'Mandie and the School Houses Secret.' This book is very fimilar because Iam exactly like that. Mandie Books are really cool. My friends and I always read them! We can't put it down! You can't stop!
6-10 are wonderful:-)

Mandie volumes 6-10 is a great set including (6) Mandie and the Medicine Man,(7) Mandie and the Charleston Phanton,(8) Mandie and the Abandoned Mine,(9) Mandie and the Hidden Treasure,and (10) Mandie and the Mysterious Bells. My favorite being Mandie and the Medicine man. 7 Mandie leaves for Europe at the end.
