Not only does Murphy give it to you straight, but the concise essays are easy to take little by little or all at once in a single sitting. This book should be read not just by meat fanatics, but also by curious vegetarians. It might not turn their opinions right round, but it does provide a nice tool for countering some of the more extreme spin you might see out there.
