Carrie and Andreas had met on blind date two years earlier in Greece. At the end of her vacation Andreas asked her to stay as his mistress. She was starting a new job in London, and he was offering nothing but sex, so she left. Carrie's best friend fell in love with Theo, Andreas younger brother and when they both died in a car crash their baby daughter was left to Andreas and Carrie. I don't want to tell you too much about this story it's pretty good, but I have to say I hated Andreas until about chapter 10!! Which I feel was over the top. I liked the ending but Andreas didn't have to be so hateful for so damn long. She's wimpy and I could have done without that. I like when the heroines are strong, not wimpy, and ladies. Three stars would have been too little and four stars maybe too much.
