In the final installment of his immensely popular Million Dollar trilogy, #1 Essence bestselling author RM Johnson delivers a juicy and shocking conclusion that his throngs of fans will never forget. Picking up where The Million Dollar Deception left off, Freddy Ford knocks on Nate Kenny's door, storms into the house, and shoots both Nate and his ex-wife Monica. But he doesn't stop there--Freddy manages to escape with little Nathaniel, Nate and Monica's adopted son. Though Nate is expected to survive the brutal attack, Monica is left in a coma. When Lewis Waters--Freddy's best friend and Layla's actual father--visits the hospital to see Monica, Nate bargains with him: if Lewis can get Freddy arrested, Nate will give him back his little girl. Meanwhile, Daphanie Coleman, the woman Nate had planned to marry before he sought revenge on Monica, rushes to Nate's side. By chance, she meets Lewis while visiting Monica's bedside, and the two devise a plan to both get what they want.
when I read the premise of this...... it was full of characters and not enough clarity. This book belongs with unscripted episodes of Jerry Springer. The storyline is so out of whack. 3 different men cheating with 3 or more females and playing childish games which is out of left field.
I like this author and will continue to support him . This one was an easy read with smaller chapters but the essence of this is enough to make me scream STOP!!!

DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA....Nate, Freddy, Monica, Lewis, Daphanie and Joni are some crazy characters. I am in love with this Million Dollar series. It was a really quick read. I had make myself put it down so i wouldn't finish too fast. Well, that didn't last too long. I was finished in two days and was sad that it ended. I can't only hope that there is another installment in the series because i can't get enough of these books. But, if it isn't I am pleased nonetheless. Thank you Mr. Johnson for another fantastic peek into the lives of these characters.

Nate & Monica Kenny are back. "The Million Dollar Demise" picks up where "The Million Dollar Deception" left off. Monica and Nate have just been shot by Freddy Ford, Lewis Waters best friend. The always scandalous Nate tricked Freddy into setting Lewis up with the promise of a new home for Freddy, his mother and his girlfriend. Nate buys the taxes and takes Freddy's moms home, demolishing it and leaving him homeless and without his girl Kia, who quickly aborts their unborn baby. Freddy shows up at Nate's door for revenge and accidently shoots Monica in the mix. Freddy quickly grabs Nate's adopted son Nathaniel and jets out if town to Atlanta to stay with an ex. Meanwhile Lewis is going crazy because his former love Monica is in a coma and he is worried about Freddy and wants answers as to why Fredy hurt Monica. Nate's is keeping Lewis' daughter Layla until Lewis assists Nate in finding Freddy and little Nathaniel. Add to the mix more of Nate's crazy schemes and you've got drama for days! Monica wakes up to some crazy things going on, including a supposed pregnancy for Nate's ex Daphanie. This book is a true page turner and is also one of the best I've read in a long time! A lot of author's bring back characters, but some need to leave those old characters alone because the book ends up wack. I won't name names lol. R M Johnson however brings new, exciting plot twists with the same characters!! I wouldn't mind a 4th book in the "Million Dollar" series to see what becomes of everyone!! 5 stars!!

Nate Kenny will always be Nate Kenny. This book was great... I highly recommend it. It was worth waitin for. The ending makes you think that there is more coming.. I sure hope so because there is room for more. Monica was great finally accepting the fact that Nate is Nate....
