A romantic comedy for the new age...
Aliens, crystals, past lives... As far as Tara Flynn is concerned, it's all a bunch of mumbo jumbo. A brilliant physicist, Tara lives her life by the scientific method. But when her wealthy father passes away and leaves his fortune to a new age cult, Tara's life is turned upside down. She's determined to prove that this so called "Moonbeam Society' is a bunch of frauds and con artists...
Then she meets Max, the society's handsome and charismatic leader. A free spirit with a zen-like charm, Max seems to be the opposite of the straight-laced Tara in every way. He oozes con?dence and sex appeal, and he seems to believe in every crack-pot new age theory there is. Moon cycles, astrology, tantra... Nothing is too 'out there' for Max and the Moonbeam Society
But as Tara in?ltrates these San Francisco hipsters, she quickly discovers there's more to Max than meets the eye. His guru persona and cheap theatrics mask a truly caring soul, and a deep, hidden pain. And Tara's love of science and the natural world seem to rub off on Max as well. Until a pending lawsuit threatens to end their romance before it even begins...
Can this experiment in love pay off? Or will these two opposites create an explosive comedy reaction?
