Whether you play golf or not this book is an excellent resource. As a non-golfer that organizes golf tournaments, I found this book to be a terrific time saver! I keep it handy at my desk for its accurate descriptions and contact info...I also seem to be a "pro" when friends and family call for course recommendations.

Who knew New York City is such a great golf city? I mean, I knew there were golfers and places to play but who knew just how much is going on. This is a well-written, meticulously-researched guide to golfing in The Big Apple. From where to get lessons to where to buy equipment to where to play, this book has it all. I know it's August but this book will be on my holiday lists for all my golfing friends in New York.
