I'm a senior this year at Harvard, and my sister just started college at Hope College. I drove with her from Colorado to Michigan to drop her off at school, and we went through this book page-by-page together on the way up. An excellent book for me as a senior--about to hit the "real world"--and for her as a freshman, about to hit college. I want my own copy, and I don't usually like this kind of book. It's the only intro-to-adult-life book I've seen that offers wisdom as well as extremely solid practical advice. I like the financial section especially.
Great advice at any time of life from 10 up

Great book. Most of the advice is summed up in one sentence summaries that are easy to remember and the author advises the reader to collect his own. I wish that I had this book when I was 20 (38 now) but most of the advice is still applicable. I am reading one principle per week to my daughters who understand some of the ideas and will get the others later. I use it as a frequent graduation present. Buy it, you won't regret it.
