A quick guide to being productive by taking time for other things
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 16 years ago
I consider it a very good thing that one minute manager guru Ken Blanchard wrote this book. Unfortunately, it may not be taken all that seriously. In it, he argues that taking time out to relax and exercise increases efficiency. It clears the mind and blood vessels, making the time you spend working more productive because you have more energy and are better able to focus. There are two problems with having a wellness maintenance program: getting started and staying going, with getting started easily the easier of the two. There are more excuses for not exercising than can possibly be imagined, but there is no excuse for not doing it. It makes our lives better, we live longer and most importantly being fit is an important component of emotional and psychological health. In his usual style, Blanchard lays out a straightforward way in which the busy manager can set down limits and a regimen that can allow them to ease into a program that will dramatically improve their lives. I strongly recommend this book for all busy people; it is a cure for much of what ails you.
