I've only read volume 1 so far and am planning on reading volume 2 of this series which is complete at only 2 volumes. The artwork on the cover looked different than most mangas we've seen. The characters are American. The names are American as well. It was an unusual change of pace reading something that we Americans can relate to. (the names and the looks anyway) The story is interesting. I won't describe the story as the previous review already did that. I liked it. It is a dark story of the dark side of life. It could be true to life as well. There is nothing fantasy about it. I enjoyed it and will continue on to volume 2 and I'll come back and revise this review a bit when I'm done... UPDATE: 6/6/08 Finished the 2nd volume and the ending was a bit surprising. I liked the way it ended but the ending was before half of the book. The other half of the book is another completely different story. Volume 2 is like 2 stories in one book. I didn't even read the 2nd story because I was only interested in the ending of the series. Still a good read & buy but I wish they had put the series all in one book since it looks like there wasn't enough to go on through the whole book.
