an absolutely beautiful devotional

This is a wonderful devotional. Each chapter follows the Stations of the Cross. You get the gospels account, then Paul Thigpen's commentary and the the visionary accounts of the mystics and finally a short prayer for the reader to meditate on. The book is meant to be read a chapter a day throughout the Lenten season and that's really the best way to do it. There is so much to think about and pray over here that you'll want to go slow. This will definitely be an annual part of my Lenten studies.
