NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER - " Sarah Addison Allen] juggles small-town history and mystical thriller, character development and eerie magical realism in a fine Southern gothic drama."--Publishers... This description may be from another edition of this product.
THE PEACH KEEPER by Sarah Addison Allen
Despite going to the same high school Willa Jackson, Colin and Paxton Osgood, and Sebastian weren’t exactly friends. Now in their 30s, they’ll have to reconcile their past pettiness and their relationships with themselves and each other.
It’s giving… The Breakfast Club if it was a Hallmark romance movie.
While there were quirky and fun magical realism elements I’ve come to expect from Sarah Addison Allen’s books, this particular story just didn’t do it for me. The plot felt very choppy. The flashback with their grandmothers toward the end seemed out of place and anticlimactic.
Overall, it was just okay. Less of a mystery and more of the average, cliched, feel-good fluffy novel.

Such a good story!

I have come to love Sarah Addison Allen's books and this was no different. The subtle magic, the call backs to other books, a relatable storyline. It was such a good book I was sad to see it end.

Think Fried Green Tomatoes with an essence of magic. I read this book in a day, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Give this book a try, you won’t regret it.
Another Sarah Addison page turner.
