This is a very clever book! I was suspicious of the premise behind it, but once I opened it up, all my concerns were immediately put to rest. It doesn't matter if you are a conservative, fundamental Biblical scholar or a liberal who looks to the Bible as part of a historic faith tradition -- this book will remind you of how viable a "pick and choose" approach to the Bible really is. The authors have written a definitive approach to developing a personal version of the Bible.
