Middle Grade Retelling

This is a Fantasy Middle Grade, and this is the third book in the Sisters Ever After series. I have read and reviewed the first two books in this series before reading this book. I do think this book can be read as a standalone without any problems. This is a re-telling of The Pied Piper which I had never heard before reading this book. I think I had a hard time figuring out what was going on because I did not know the Pied Piper story, and I also do not normally read books with fairies in them. I did not connect with the story or the characters. I found parts of this book to be hard to follow. I finished reading this book, and I liked the ending. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.
