I am a nurse who took two years of Spanish in High School many, many years ago. I now find I have more and more patients who speak limited English and my limited Spanish wasn't getting the job done. I ordered this book and love the way it is set up: simple, concise and effective in what a nurse needs to successfully communicate with a Spanish speaking patient/family. It has large print and is easy to read and find what you need. It combines the English/Spanish/Phonetic keys to the words and helps you feel confident in your use of the Spanish language. I know there are many books out there like this one, but I think this is the winner.
