A guide to using denial to make your life happier and successful. It details the author's personal journey to attain happiness, his failure to achieve it, and how he learned that denial is the most... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Wonderful, lighthearted, and witty must-read for anyone who has ever attended a self-help, self-betterment program and kept their sense of humor. Great reminder about the importance of not taking oneself and life too seriously as well as not sweating the small stuff. I sure couldn't follow the author's suggestion of taking long breaks from reading the book - it's way too entertaining! However, as far as the advice of waiting for two weeks before doing anything about problems or issues goes, now that is pretty darn helpful. You wait long enough, and most problems do miraculously clear up on their own. Great gift for someone who truly loves to laugh!!!!!
Made me smile and think

This is one of those rare books that makes you both smile and think. It had some very profound parts that weren't overbearing, they made you think, but not so hard that it hurt. Above all it was a very enjoyable read.
Exquisitely funny! Utterly delightful!

I had the good fortune to read "The Power Of Two Weeks From Now." It was utterly delightful! Robert Crayhon is a modern day Mark Twain, Evelyn Waugh, and Ellen Degeneres rolled into one! Follow Robert Crayhon's hero on his journey in one man's "search for meaning." Each episode is funnier than the last! The laughter never ends. This book is pure joy, humor, and pleasure!
Two Weeks From Now is where you want to be!

"The Power of Two Weeks from Now" is a good-natured satirical spoof on the contemporary spiritual scene, written by a witty and insightful insider. With its title riffing on Echart Tolle's best-seller, "The Power of Now", it takes us on a picaresque journey peopled by a colorful cast of dubious characters, many with strangely familiar names (Antonio Robino, Repak Dopra, etc.), following its hapless protagonist as he pursues enlightenment, his estranged girlfriend, and the best in lawn care (!), all the while elevating denial to a fine art. This is a quick, hilarious read from an author best known as an über nutritionist, but whose side career as a stand-up comic serves him well here.
God this is funny!

I love Robert Crayhon. I love him as a nutritionist, I love him as a person, and i love him as a comedian and performer. Now I love him as a comic writer. "The Power of Two Weeks from Now" is simply hysterical. If you've ever rolled your eyes over some of the more, shall we say, "irrational exuberance" of the self-help movement, you'll absolutely love this book. He takes no prisoners, and no "gurus" are sacred. Let's hope Deepak, Tony Robbins and the rest of our beloved motivators have a sense of humor! Warning: you'll want to read this in one sitting so don't start it if you've got a busy night!
