This book provided a thorough explanation of the NCLEX-RN and its logistics, and gave quick yet comprehensive coverage of all the important subject areas.The best thing was the eight complete sample tests on the enclosed CD-ROM. The actual NCLEX was a breeze after the practice I was able to do with this book/CD.

Of the three books I chose to buy, this one was the best. It offers definitive, but not lengthy, study reviews of major nursing topics. I was able to use their reviews to help me focus where I needed to study more. Two drawbacks of the book are that it lacks an adequate legal/ethical issue section and the sample questions are too simplistic.

I am starting my Junior year of nursing school. It is required by our school to buy an NCLEX book early on. The idea is to learn what we need to learn to take the test. This is a great book, that WILL get you the results you need the first time you take the test. It is a must have for any nursing student. Buy it before you finish nursing school. You will pick up things you know you need to know.

This book provided a great review for the NCLEX-RN. It highlighted areas the NCLEX keys in on. It also includes a great sample test to get you ready for the NCLEX format. I recommend it!
