The Project

Soon to be vice-presidential Candidate, Austin Douglas will stop at nothing to reach the White House. He has one problem, while camping with a group of teenage friends some 30 years earlier, it seems there was a tragic accident that left one of the female campers dead. Knowing that the press will scrutinize every aspect of his life history, Austin must clean up the past. Now he must now find and eliminate those who, as he believes, would deny him his political aspirations. Sam Johnson, one of Austin's camping companions miraculously survives a suspicious car accident and Sam's fiancée Angie is not convinced it was an accident. With some investigative work of their own, it seems other members of the camping trip have died in freak accidents. Not knowing that Austin is behind the "The Project" to have them all killed, Sam attempts to warn the other surviving members of the camping trip, including Austin, that they may be in danger. When, to his surprise, Austin realizes that Sam is still alive, Austin personally takes matters into his own hands to ensure there are not more slipups. The plot is well laid out and believable. This book will entertain those who enjoy a good political thriller with a very unpredictable ending.
