A twist on normal narrative and story telling! I loved it.

This author always writes amazing world building stories. For those that say it’s hard to get into, yes it is written in second person and then it swaps to first person. The first person POV is who is telling the story. They are telling it to the second person POV. It provides a mystery for who that narrator is and why they care about the second person. In addition, we learn about the hierarchy and political climate and history of this town and its surrounding regions. And it’s interesting to see how the many gods of this world have a their own agenda and how it affects the people who inhabit this world. I highly recommend this book. I read it from the library first and it’s one of those I just had to get my hands on.
Unique story that sticks with you

This book felt a bit tricky to get the hang of, it is unclear for a long time who is the narrator. That sets up a very interesting mystery and reveal and this book is one o look forward to rereading.
Wow, actually unreadable

It's been a while since I've read a book this bad. It appears as though the entire book is written in the second person, and not very well at that. I'm not certain though, because I couldn't get past the first chapter.
Maybe it gets better, but I'm not torturing myself to find out.
