This was something I'd considered writing into an up coming litrpg series, but it didn't feel right. When I started writing it on Royal Road, it was part of a writ-a-thon. I liked it enough to work on it between my other books. It's been bouncing around there for about a year now. During that time, I decided to approach it like the novels I read growing up. A complete story in one book, but open enough to have more adventures with. No cliffhangers or unfinished business. If Syn and Badb creep back into my mind, maybe there will be more. It's up to them..
