Excellent blues primer

I have been using the guide for a few years, as I build my blues library. For the blues aficionado the guide can help you fill in the blanks of your collection. For the novice it will give you an intro to many of the best blues recordings. Whether or not you agree that these are the definiive 100 albums, it still serves as a good starting off point. Quite often when I am looking for new CDs I can consult the guide for information about an artist I'm not familiar with and then shop with a purpose, rather than just browsing. What I also find is that in the course of searching for specific CDs I end up discovering other gems that are not in the guide. It's a great tool.
