Admirers of botanical art will love coloring in more than 60 black-and-white outline images based on the work of Marianne North whose archive is held by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
One of the 19th century's most intrepid women travellers, Marianne North (1830-90) explored the world. Her contribution to botanical research and the documenting of new species was invaluable and is marked by some of the most glorious and intricate art that is on show in the Marianne North Gallery at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. With full color plates opposite each outline, budding artists can be inspired by her original illustrations, or choose color schemes of their own.Related Subjects
