I read this back when it first came out a long, long time ago. It was one of the few books at that time that I read more than once. If you have a child who shows an interest in science fiction books I guarantee they will love this one.

This book is about an orphan boy named Dilly. He is magnetic and being raised by a bank. He is kidnapped by bad guys. Before all this he moves to public school. He meets new friends. But while he is at school someone is following him. Read this book. You'll love it.
