I'm surprised that none of the books in this series have been reviewed so far. My 6 y/o son picked this book up at a fund raiser late last year, and loved it (we're reading them together). He's loved all three in the series so far and is eagerly waiting for the 4th installment. Good family fun with mildly creepy plots, each is written from the POV of a different member of "The Monster Squad" - a group of kids brought together by a local movie mogul to fight monsters that have left his films to terrorize those folks sensitive enough or (un)lucky enough to be able to see them. Recommended for younger readers or parents who read to their grade-school kids. Probably boring for anyone past "tween" age level.
