FINALLY!! This is the first book of the series where I wasn’t having difficulty getting through the story due to flow issues or editing errors.
I loved this take on the Snow Queen. Like the others in the series, it’s a short book that you’ll get through quickly. As such, it’s a faced past story but it does a great job in letting you get to know the characters and what drives them. The characters from the other stories are brought back in small ways, which helps to tie all of the fairy tales together.
It’s also with this story that a bit more is added in the way of the gods and goddesses, as well as the elves. It brought more depth and intrigue to the story while broadening the story of this entire fairy tale world in general.
Now I’m just disappointed because there are only 2 more books in the series!
