I read the first couple of chapters & put the book down. I picked it up yesterday and finished the entire 342 pages. Brought back many flashbacks of my younger life as our lives were very similar.
Ruthie deals with abandonment, depression, incest, death, criminal activity and was raising her younger siblings by the age of 14. Once she was freed from the morman LeBaron colony in Mexico she, along with her siblings, began to thrive. I would recommend this book.
