An amazing blend of fantasy and science fiction!

The Spell of Rosette is an incredibly original novel. It intricately blends fantasy and science-fiction to create stark juxtapositions between the technology-choked world of the present (Earth) and the pre-industrial magical world of Gaela. Kim Falconer has created some amazingly strong characters and fascinating relationships and her wealth of knowledge about astrology and quantum mechanics shines through her writing in subtle ways that strengthen the book as a whole. There is depth here beyond imagination and a gripping storyline! I literally couldn't put it down! And would love to zap myself to Gaela right now...
