Poetic, suspenseful prose

I get this book out when the summer monsoons come to Arizona every year. And my kids -- especially my oldest son -- always wish we lived in a house with a tree swing, like the house in the illustration. Awesome and Cherished Book

I loved this book as a child and bought it for my child and he loves it too. Whenever it rains or storms we get the book out and read it. The book creates a very "cozy" feel. 5 STARS!

The beginning of the Storm Book, starts out with the build of a big storm. The storm first striked with lightning and thunder, something the young boy in the book hasn't heard or seen. Excellent book for showing how different people see storms!

I really enjoyed how the book described the different experiences people had with the same storm. I love storms so the book was that much more interesting to me!
