Tom Clancy brings Jack Ryan's son--Jack Ryan, Jr.--to the forefront in this #1 New York Times bestselling thriller. A man named Mohammed sits in a caf in Vienna, about to propose a deal to a... This description may be from another edition of this product.
There's a bit more description of places than neccessary and that can get a bit tedious and there are some repetitive points but it's a solid read. It left me hoping to grab up the next book to see what happens. It's a good set up to a series. I enjoyed it immensely.
Jack Ryan -- The Next Generation

Tom Clancy took Jack Ryan all the way to the White House, which made for a fascinating run of techno-thrillers, but kind of limited the potential for sequels. Rather than continue pursuing the further career of super-spook John Clark (RAINBOW SIX), himself a little long of tooth now, Clancy has passed the torch to a new generation of protectors of America's freedoms.President Jack Ryan set up "The Campus" as an off=the-books, supersecret intelligence agency. Off-the-books, off-the-budget (in fact, it turns a profit), off-the-oversight-committee-supervision -- it exists to do what must be done. And "The Campus" has determined that in the world of post-September 11th, it now needs an action arm --"teeth" for the "tiger". It recruits a young FBI agent and a young Marine Captain. Yet even while it seeks to expand its activities, the secret of "The Campus" itself has been penetrated -- by none other than Jack Ryan, Jr.All Jack, Jr. wants is a chance to help save America, just like Dad did. And there are a lot of bad guys out there that America needs saving from.A good plot, good, new characters, and a real fast read, without being a 700 page monster.

Tom is Back!!!!

After a large miss with "Red Rabbit" Tom Clancy is back and as good as ever. This is old time Clancy - great plot, wonderful characters, and superb writing. You can not put this book down! It is truly one of Tom's very best - just wish it were a bit longer.
The Tiger kicks the Red Rabbits BUT!

I'm a huge Clancy fan I have read everything that he has written except the Net Force Stories. After struggling to read Red Rabbit I was not sure what to expect from Tom this time around but I was totally wrong this time. The Teeth of The Tiger is new generation Clancy that runs a full speed with top notch characters and a great storyline. Thanks to Tom for putting out yet another excellent book and I look forward to reading many more just like it!
