Rob Hefferan's artwork breathes life into this family favourite. All children love to hear each bear say, 'Who's been sitting on my chair?' knowing that Goldilocks is about to be discovered upstairs This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book is a timeless, enduring children's classic. I have been reading this to my two year old granddaughter, Carolina Skye. Everytime I ask her to bring me a story to read to her, this is the one she chooses. She refers to it as "The Just Right Book!" This is because the baby bear's porridge, bed and chair are not too hot or to hard, but JUST RIGHT! She has been able to transfer this expression to many other situations...if I ask her if she likes something, she'll say, "It's Just Right!" She loves Goldilocks and the baby bear, but somehow thinks that her Grandmother & Grandfather are the MaMa & PaPa bear. Wonder where she got that idea? We only TALK for the characters every time we read it to her! This book truly is "JUST RIGHT!" Susan Boston September 9,08

My grandchildren and I have "talked about" the three bears for a long time...so I finally found this "Little Golden Book" and now we can read the story. They love for me to read it to them and truly enjoy the illustrations. They say always say the lines the bears speak in their own version of bear voices !! I am not sure who enjoys these readings more...my grandchildren or me.

It is wonderful. We are using it to have the grandkids put on puppet shows.
Adorable Tale Portrays the Beauty in Simplicity

Bialosky Stays Home by Nancy Moran is simple, cute, and yummy. Children who read this book will automatically become inspired to create a yummy treat, and they will fall in love with this magical, yet domestic bear. When Bialosky decides to stay home in order to cook a delicious batch of cookies, he finds that tasting the batter is as good as tasting the final product. Needless to say, Bialosky has only enough batter for one cookie by the time he finishes. I learned how to read with this book. First through memorization, then applying the story to the very readable print. It is my opinion that every child deserves to have a book this wonderful standing on his or her bookshelf.
