What a great book--on two fronts. First, I have learned to love my local Trader Joe's even more. As a Trader Joe's fan and the owner of my own business, I was really looking forward to this book, both for the stories, and the lessons. I was not disappointed. This book is well edited and very easy to read. In addition to some great Trader Joe's stories, it has many lessons on business best practices from one of today's most unique and innovative retailers. I highly recommend it for all business people, as well as loyal Trader Joe's shoppers like me.

While I thought the writing lacked some preofessionalism, the overall content of the book is a facinating story of differentiation in a commoditized industry. Small retailers in many industries, especially those that are in high commodity, low margin product, will find many valuable insights that are worth the price of the book.
